Navodaya Vidyalaya Residential High School is promoted by Sri Lokamatha Educational Trust (SLET) and governed by a Board of Trustees. Today, with more than 1300 students and 50 faculties under its wing, growing from strength to strength within a short span of time since its launch in 1992-93.

Kapillamma Composite Pre-university College is one of the Best PU Colleges in Sidlagatta taluk established in the year 1992-93. With a total student strength of 160 it is also one of the colleges affiliated to the Department of Pre-university Education, Karnataka. It is basically an aided Institution which has a great reputation for quality education at affordable cost.

The mission of the College of Education is to help prepare outstanding educators, scholars, and researchers, and to advance the profession of education, as broadly defined, through research on the science and art of teaching and learning, the application of clinical processes, the effective uses of technology, and the analysis and development of leadership and educational policy.
